Another night and the convention has come to an end

Today tried to sleep a little longer but to no avail.  Dang am I getting tired.  It been a long few days of up and around and visiting and walking.  My body told me today to stop.

So this morning we had our last meal together.  A pj breakfast.  Consisted of eggs and bacon and sausage.  More then I usually eat for breakfast.  But hey it did fill the spot.  The rest of the prizes were given out and then we all dispersed heading in our different directions.  Some to the casino, some to the vender room to see if there was any deals left and others had to catch plane to head home.
These are two ladies trim Langley who did a skitt of singing sisters.,  there was a couple of poems read and a few other events done before we left the room.

Here is a beautiful hat that one of the ladies was wearing.  You see were all the sparkly is.  That is a bra and then she added the extra decoration.  These are the rage right now.  You have to have a bra hat in your collection.  Me no I don't and may never have but hey you never know some day I may.  To go along with all the other kookie things I have.

Well after I left the ball room I headed upstairs and changed out of my pjs.  I then yes you guessed it went back to the venders room.  Just had to check it out once more.  And you I am proud of myself I did not buy anything except the photo DVD of all the pictures taken at the event.  I may not be in many of them, but it is fun to have and just look through.

I said goodbye to Emma and her ladies in waiting.  Emma told me that the afghan I made for the event had a box full of ballets to try to win it.  So it seems that allot of ladies liked my afghan.  So the next two quilts I am making should go over just a great.  Now just to get them done and sent off.

So after my goodbyes and such I headed back up to the room.  Maybe just a little lay down for a few minutes to stop my body from telling me I need to stop.  Well three hours later I woke up.  I think I needed the sleep.  Should listen to my body a little more.  Felt good though just to rest for a little while.

There was a diva show tonight that some of the ladies were going to.  Yeah I had a ticket to it too but the way I was feeling I decided to forgo it.  Maybe jus take it easy for the rest of the night.

Well you know that did not exactly happen.  Rob was going to a circus show tonight.  One of the ones that is more on the raunchy side then the ones we saw a few days ago.  So I road down on the transit bus with him and decide to maybe stroll around a little and look at some things we didn't get to look at the first few times we were down there.  I thought about getting a shirt.  Something I usually do when I go someplace. Get a tshirt.

Well rob went his way to NYNY to go to his show and I went the other way.  I wanted to see the belagio water fountains go off.  I got there just as they were about to start
Interesting how the water can spray one way and then another to music.  I loved watching and stayed to watch a second time.  Then I checked out the mall for a few minutes.  These malls are too pricy for me but are nice to wander through and say what if.

I then crossed the road heading back towards were I said I would meet up with rob.  I walked through the one mile mall.  Another one that looked lookie it was too pricy for me.  What I was thinking is maybe something to eat that didn't have to do with any expensive resteraunt or sit down place.  Hand not found anything that looked like what I really wanted to eat.

Came out of there on the wrong area and found myself on a side street.  So had to walk a little ways to find the boulevard again.  Next stop was at hotel Paris.  I decided I wanted to go to the top and see las vgas from up higher.  Get a view.
Isn't the view great.  Got to see a belagio show from up there as well.
Just beautiful!!!  Well time is now passing.  I said I would meet up with him around 8:30 or so.  His show would be over by then.  So last two stops.  Took a look in the coke store.  Two floors dedicated to coca cola
Then I headed to the m and m store.  Four floors dedicated to m and m's  but hey they lied there are only three floors.  The last one is under construction.
But look at this, wall to wall candy in every flavour they make.  Just pick out what you want and fill you back.  I could go for that but then you know how much weight I might put back on with that.  There was a tshirt in there I might have bought but my suitcase is not going to hold anymore.  It said I am stuck between two nuts..  No didn't buy it.  Well not souvenir tshirt on this trip.  All the better anyways.

I guess that is it for today.  Only a couple more days here and then we head for home.  I hope the snow is gone by then.  I have been hearing from home it is snowing in my home town.  I don't really want to drive from the airport in that.  Well should be gone by the time we get home.  Here is hoping anyways.

Tomorrow we are going to walk a or to the neon light museum.  Or scrap pile as some call it.  I think it will be interesting to see some of the old signs that were on the buildings around here many years ago.  Hope it is not too far away to walk.  My computer says  about a 15 minute walk.  Well that will be better then the walk we made to the strip one day.

So now off to relax time.  Talk again tomrrow
