Red hat Chinese New Year.

So here are some pictures from today's Chinese New Year festivities.  It was a sold out event. About fifty ladies there.

We went to the Maderine restaurant in abbotsford.  Lots of food galour.  I was stuffed after one plate full.  But boy was it good.

As you can see I dressed to the idea of Chinese.  I made the robe and the pjs underneath.  Looked pretty good but my pants were just a little long.  Kept tripping over them every time I tried to stand up. So I was one of a Few who dressed to the occasion.  There was different versions of Chinese to all ladies with red hat attire.  So there was a mish mash of different outfits there.

You know I use to love dressing  up when I was a kid.  I lived on a farm and never got out much to do anything but would be up in. My room and dress up and pretend I was doing something.  Now I can dress up again in. My second childhood and really go out someplace and have a little fun.

In the next couple weeks I will be heading to Las Vegas.  This will be fun.  My son rob is going with me.  We will have a few days before the convention to goof oft ogether and then a few days were he will be on his own while I do the convention thing.  And then a few more days were we can spend a bit of time together.  He is going to be so sick of me by the time this is over.  And with the outfits I am going to be wearing will he really want to be seen with me.  Well that is to be decided at the time. He will sound like my hubby and say you are going to wear what? Yeah I am. This is going to be fun
