running around in circles just to get ready for #RHSSanFran2014

Well it has been a week. Ii have been looking through my stash. Finding stuff I do not even remember I had.  Looking for thingsIi think should be there but can not find.  This is getting frustrating.

Let me just give you a look at my delema

This is my room of red hat paraphanalia.  Three racks full of dresses and such.  One hat rack of hats and another shelf full of hats.  I have a little over two weeks to figure out where all of the things I want to take with me and What i going to stay at home.  So far with the dress i have and the crimolyn to go with it I have one suitcase already full.  I thinkI can do it if I can scrunch the crimlyn down should be able to get a few more things in.

So I started sorting.  that took a couple of days. My fancy dresses are in one place.   My victorian dresses are together.  Skirts and bustles are now hung together.  I have halloween costumes from years past that i use to were on halloween in there as well.  There are boostiers and shawls and jackets and pants.  Purple, Purple everywhere.  While hubby was't home the living room was full of dresses just to make room

Ya see what I mean.  the living room was just full.  I then had to put it all back in this room  another chore and it had to be done before the other half came home and wondered what the heck was going on.

In this rearranging and sorting I found some goodies that I had misplaced and ordered were they were.

I sit here on the couch and wonder #RHSSanFran2014 well what have I done., Yes I am going to do this.

Yeah I am wondering.  In a few weeks i will be heading to San Francisco.  This has been a year in waiting to go to this convention.  I signed up for tours.  Got my hotel room And the dress i had made for one of the events.  Oh just so lovely.


You betcha that is it.  There are other outfits I have as well to wear for this convention.  not all as fancy as this but in their own respect will be just as fancy .  I do like to dress up.  my suitcase will be overflowing.  May have to take two and then a crayon as well.

Today i got another parcel in the mail.  It was an antique necklace i found on ebay.  it is shaped like a butterfly.  so yes i intend to wear it to the social butterfly.  I am going to keep styling all weekend if i can.

Will start off with getting in late from the airport.  well then getting to the hotel. That will be my first challenge.  I was hoping to get there a little earlier and maybe see some other ladies at the airport to travel to the hotel with.  But now I am getting in late and probably will not see anyone..  well when i get to hotel  i will just lay my weary head down and sleep like a baby.

the next day there will be meet and greets. I will be dropping in on a couple of them.  So I will start getting to know my surroundings and see a few ladies around the hotel..  time to get my bearings so i know were i am going and what I am doing.

that night is a show i signed up for to see.  plus the next night will be another show to see.  there is also the pirate event to go to and then all the tours i am taking to see some countryside.

oh yeah there is the convention besides.  that will be fully packed with things to do as well as ladies i will meet again and new ones i will meet for the first time.  i have met allot of them on the social media, but not in person.  it will be so great to finally meet them in person. besides I get to dress up all nice and purdy.

 Just have to get off my duff and get out of my shell and talk to them.  Well there is the hard part.  I can travel on my own but when it comes to meeting new people I have a little bit of a hard time. takes me a little while to warm up to talking.  I do love to sit and watch.  and smile at the antics.

You know maybe Ruby Red hat will sneak up behind me and kick me in the butt to get moving. That would be a sight.  The small two foot women in Red and purple shoving out of my chair to get me motivated.  Well you never know what will happen at these things.

So now I have yanked a little tonight.  I am getting excited about this so just had to get it down here where I can think it out.  making lists for packing.  getting my things together so they are al in one place.  making sure i have my jewellery that i need.  just blingy things.  nothing worth anything except the shine they have. two suitcases I think.  as one will have to hold one dress and the crimolyn that is just so puffy.  I think I can scrunch it down a bit.  then there is the other outfits.  A victorian dress, a butterfly dress, a costume for one night, a pirate outfit.  heck they are all just piling on here..

did I sign up for too much.  Heck no.  I am gonna enjoy myself and then sleep like a trooper when I get home.

well I guess that is the time for my thinking to night.  will probably write again in a couple of days.  jut trying to get my time and what I need in order.  soon will have to start doing something about it besides thinking I guess.

Well time to post again

It is a month away.  Yeah I am going to another convention.  This is the big one.organizing to figure out what to bring

Making my list and checking it many times. Nyah there is a wine glass there as well.  That is for something I need to do.

Still signing up for more things to do.  I signed up to go to Motown the musical.  Then I found a pirate dinner.  Sent off a check for that.  Then I see there is a early meet and greet for breakfast.  So yes I am going to that.  Then I see another dinner meet and greet is being put on by another group.  I asked if I could join in.  Them I decided to go to the social butterfly as well.  My calendar is just filling up like anything.  Well so much for me being the shy stand in the corner lady that just watches all the fun.  I am trying to have the fun.  

Okay speaking of social butterfly.  Wonder what I wear to this,  so started checking my stash.  Yeah I have a stash.  It is a room full of stash.  Well you be glad I do not have a picture of my room to show you.  Three racks of clothing plus drawers of stuff and hat racks everywhere. I though I was going to have to go out and buy some butterflies but looked in my room and have a drawer full of them

  Got a glitch in there though.  I have two things going on at once. I get back from tour but it is an hour after I am to be at a show.  I hope this gets figured out soon.  I don't want to miss seeing the show.  Second problem so far is I had a flight scheduled to fly back home a month later.  Well that at least got straightened out today.  I also have a butterfly costume that I can wear as well .  The thing is it is green with a little purple in it.  Have to figure out how to put a little more purple to it.  Well I have a bustle that might work.

Well I got my dress a couple of days ago.  So what cha think of this

Think it looks like the one below.  I get the hat.  Parasol, gloves, bling and the bigger crimolyn.  It will be just the bestest.  I know what kind of language is that.  It is the bestest I think.

So I have made the list and figure I have everything started to organize.  I am thinking two suitcases will be in order.  Besides my hat bag and my purse and that is packing light for just a week of red hatting.  I did it with one on the last convention in Oshawa but now I am taking more puffy things to this and who knows what I might be printing home.

So I guess that is it for now.  Excitement is building.  Gonna be a funfilled event.  You will be hearing allot from me from now on as to this event. New ladies to meet and new things to do.
